Volcanic activity - El Hierro Canary Islands

The FCO have changed the travel advice for the resort of La Restinga in the South of the island of El Hierro in the Canary Islands.  They now advise against all travel to La Restinga. This is as a result of seismic activity and a volcanic tremor on 11th October which has led the local authorities to raise the risk level to red and evacuate locals and visitors from La Restinga as a precaution.   The overall level of advice has not changed and there are currently no restrictions to other parts of the Island.
