In business, when there is an opportunity to grow, chances are you would grab it. For those who are adamant at growing their business, this is a good trait. However, there are some entrepreneurs that keep on grabbing opportunities that come their way without even understanding how each work and how it can help them succeed. It is like snatching a toy from a kid and tossing it out when you get bored with it. The same goes with email marketing.
We all know that it has constantly ranked as the number one marketing return on investment for business to business email marketing and, yet, not all entrepreneurs follow through. There is like 1% of the population of small business owners that are making a fortune with marketing using email. The other 4% of the population are failing at it and the other 95% are not doing it. Unfortunately, this large percentage of the population are missing out.
A lot of these business owners have different views about marketing through email. Most of them think that this type of marketing is dying. There are some who say that they do not want to spam their existing and prospective clients with an underlying fear of clients getting mad at them for emailing frequently. Some say they would email their list from time to time and some, believe it or not, do not even know what to say. You really need to think about your business’ future and think about how you would fit in that 1%.
How you see things matters and these perspectives are what hinders your business’ growth. There is nothing wrong with sending out an email on a regular basis. It is how you construct it that matters. You have to check the format and how you write the content. You can even send them a video email. Don’t worry about people unsubscribing from your list. This only means that they are not interested and it means you can clean out your list. Do not sell all the time. Don’t push it.
It is not always about telling them to buy your product. You can also send them useful information or give them freebies if you like. The important thing to remember about joining that 1% is that you never give up. If you are adamant at succeeding at business to business email marketing, then you need to be patient.
