A lot of you have used Twitter to market your business. Most of you use it for updates or announcements and promotions which, in this case, is your ultimate goal. However, there are some of you who do not have any idea about what they are supposed to do. So, what can marketing and Twitter do to help your business with only 140 characters?  

So, what can you do for your marketing and Twitter?

Many individuals that are getting creative with what they post on their social media accounts especially with the character limit. Using Twitter for business is great but you need to know how to maximise it to its full potential.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who have tried their best in using the social media platform and failed at it. And because it didn’t work for them, some entrepreneurs tend to just abandon ship without even really realising how helpful it is to business. In fact, this channel of communication is one of the easiest tools to manage all of your company’s clients, target audience, and followers. The best thing about it is that you can communicate with your customers in real time provided, of course, that you respond in a timely manner.

When it comes to marketing and Twitter, how can you promote your business?

Aside from being creative with your updates because of the character limitation, you would also have to be playful with the content you share with your audience. In order to cater to your clients, you need to share informative content which can benefit them. You should also think of humanising your account. You can choose to add a personality to it to get people to follow you and to also promote engagement. In order words, you should always maintain the sharing of quality information.

With this in mind, you need to remind yourself to not keep on selling on your account. Yes, marketing your products and services is the purpose but you need to put persona behind your brand which, ultimately, brings us back to adding a personality to your content. If you can, add some entertainment.  Your followers do not follow you just for the information you give. If you want them to stick around, you need to entertain them in the process. You need to remember that marketing and Twitter go hand-in-hand especially if you want to get results!
