More people are using LinkedIn as a marketing tool for establishing relationships to boost the company’s reputation, or to generate more leads. LinkedIn is considered to be a powerful tool for marketing but a lot of individuals do not know how to use it properly.

Questions to ask for a LinkedIn Marketer

Are you always wondering why you are not creating leads on LinkedIn? If you are, then you are probably making mistakes.

As a LinkedIn Marketer, do you keep in touch with your followers every day?

It is important to communicate with your contacts using your profile’s home page. You can use this to help in directing traffic to your site.

As a LinkedIn Marketer, are you sending relevant group messages that are beneficial to the people in the group?

When it comes to marketing, you have to be strategic in everything you do. Therefore, do not send important group messages to just anyone. You have to make sure that the people who receive your messages belong to the same industry.

When sending group messages, you have to make sure that it is helpful or beneficial to those contacts who will receive the message. If you want to share the information publicly, you can publish a blog on LinkedIn about it. In doing so, your network gets notified and it is possible that your blog will be featured in Pulse.

As a LinkedIn Marketer, are you endorsing someone’s skills without being able to witness them use it?

It is great to show your appreciation to your newly added connection but not through endorsing skills. This shows a lack of integrity on your part and if you want them to trust you or your views, you have to stick to what you know.

As a LinkedIn Marketer, do you create promotional posts without any information in it?

The blog posts in LinkedIn exist to share and show them what you are an expert on. It is a way of giving back to the LinkedIn community. When you promote, don’t just put a title that would attract attention and a url linking to your event.

Be friendly and not self-centered. People would know if you are overdoing it. As a LinkedIn marketer, you have to pay attention to what you do and how you do it as well.
