A Trail of Martin Luther
One of the main events in European history with the Protestant Reformation, lead by a German man named Martin Luther. This shaped European history, and was the cause of many rebellions, battles and tensions in late-medieval to early-modern Europe.
Walk-through history in the footsteps of Martin Luther! A typical tour begins in Mainz, which is the home of the Gutenberg Museum, and the home of the famous printed bible. Then onto Worms, where you will stand in the exact spot where Luther refused to recant before the Imperial Diet. Next, you will visit Wartburg castle which became Luther’s sanctuary after he had been “outlawed”. This castle is where Luther spend time controversially translating the bible into German, before it was only allowed to be printed in Latin. Discover the birth and death place of Luther, Eiselben – you can even visit the home which he was born in! Most notably, you will visit the church which spurred the Reformation on in Wittenberg; where Luther offered services and nailed his Ninety-Five Theses to the church door.

Occupied Poland tour
By far one of the worst hit countries by the second world war and the Nazi regime was Poland. Fought over and occupied by both Adolf Hitler’s Nazi’s on the German side and the Soviet Russians who answered to Stalin, Poland was consequentiality badly and grievously affected. Soon after the start of WWII, the Nazis would start their systematic and brutal persecution of the Jewish population, building extermination camps in the country to implement what is called their “Final Solution”. The Holocaust is something that must be remembered and retaught so that everyone is aware of the horrors that took place, which is why we are recommending this tour as a must-do to further and deepen your knowledge of the atrocities.
