If you are doing this, then you need to stop immediately! You have to always remember that whenever you want to send messages to groups, make sure that the contents of the message benefit them. Otherwise, you will just end up annoying them. Therefore, whenever you plan to send messages to groups, you must consider the industry they belong to and if they can benefit from your products and services.


  1. Do you endorse skills to a person even though you haven’t even seen that person use that skill?

A lot of individuals make a mistake in endorsing people’s skills without even taking into consideration how good they are at it. Worse, some people do not even have an idea if they have that certain skill. If you want others to trust you, you should be able to give honest endorsements. Integrity is an essential aspect of business especially if you want to have a following.


  1. Are you using the LinkedIn blog posts to its full potential?

If you haven’t, then you need to starting thinking about it. If you have started, then how is it going for you? This is a chance to showcase your expertise. How you create your content is very important. You need to think about it and strategise. More importantly, you need to be able to provide the necessary information without overly promoting yourself or your business in the process.


If you want to make sure that you are taking advantage of the power of LinkedIn, then you need to make sure that you are using the LinkedIn marketing tool correctly.
