Earlier this year I did a Passion Test Certification training with Janet Bray Attwood, author of the best selling book The Passion Test! Janet created the Passion Test for herself years ago when she saw that living by the 'ought to's" simply wasn't working for her. She tells her story of moving from a being a penniless meditation teacher to working in a dot.com company (just for the money and she felt she 'ought to' get serious) and loathing every single minute. And in her words she sucked at… Continue

Has your utility company let you down recently by badly under estimating
your energy bills over the last year or two then hitting you with a
LARGE bill. I am seeing under estimates of over 50% going back over two
years by one energy company operating in Berkshire. I even have one
client who may have to shut down their business because they have been
hit by a… Continue

IS ROONEY RIGHT TO STAY?
The view from Mars: cosmic insights from the football astrologer.
Wayne Rooney was worried. Would Manchester United win anything now that it appeared that they couldn’t compete with Real Madrid, Chelsea and Man City for the best (most expensive) players?
But did he really have cause for concern? maybe, but then again he could take some comfort from history: a good team has players who complement each other, said Sven-Goran Eriksson or as Sir… Continue

A client of mine specialises in doing interior fitouts (Home-Creation) for new builds and refurbishments costing at least £1m.
Part of my work involves finding High Net Worth Individuals for clients, but in this case, my client wants HNWI's who have recently moved into a large new property or had one built and need an interior designer to fit out the whole property.
My question is: how do I get to these HNWI's when they have just purchased a large…

Forget location, location, location and think people, people, people. People are one of the
most important assets of any business; but how many employers recognise this fact? Very often a line manager will recruit someone in his/her own likeness, rather than whether the individual has the necessary skills to carry out the role. They set them up to fail. People need to feel valued otherwise they don't shine, and possibly don't give of their best. If you know friends and family who feel… Continue

I have recently been working with a Berkshire company who asked me to identify who the buyer would be for their product within certain companies.
The client named a few she would like to approach, and a few industries generally and also listed a few of their existing clients.
Using our investigations background, I was then able to find the prospects, get a name and contact details, and ascertain their level of interest and some incumbent information.

So, here you are in an online networking group which features offline networking opportunities. Does that sound kind of weird? After all, with the wide availability of online networking you don't really need to leave your house. You can do all you need to do by networking with people on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Ecademy and so on. Gosh...bliss...! You can stay in the warm during winter, you can keep your shorts on in summer and you can network in your jim-jams if you want...!
