NEW MINIMUM WAGE - OCTOBER 2010

New minimum wage rates come into effect tomorrow:

£3.64ph - 16 - 17 year olds
£4.92ph - 18 - 20 year olds
£5.93ph - 21+

Remember to review your staff wages, if you think this affects you.

Equality Act: October 2010

The new Equality Act comes into force tomorrow, 1st October 2010.

If I Ruled Blockbuster...

I heard that Blockbuster are going to file for bankruptcy and my immediate thought was that I wasn't surprised...they just didn't seem to keep up with the rapid pace that society is developing at and they neglected their evolving competition - just like Woolworths were going through at the same time last year.
